Monique Hall is an author of contemporary romance and is a member of Romance Writers of Australia. She is a qualified teacher and librarian with ten years of experience and has spent the last three years working for an international children’s publisher. She is about to embark on a freelance editing career.
Monique’s novelette, A Healing Hand, was published in Serenity Press’ 2015 Rocky Romance anthology and in 2016 was released in its own edition. Her short story, Breaking Free, won second place in RWA’s 2016 Little Gems competition and was published as part of the Sunstone anthology. Monique was also a contributor to Serenity Press’ 2016 Writing the Dream anthology, a collection of writing journeys from twenty-five Australian authors. She is working on her first full-length manuscript, A Place to Belong. It is a novel inspiring hope, acceptance and belonging and will become the first in a series.
Monique lives in the southern suburbs of Western Australia with her husband and two children. She is a self-confessed bibliophile and sniffer of books, enjoys photography and soppy romance novels with “happily-ever-afters”. Monique’s blog details her writing journey.
